How Do I Put It All Together?  But we all know that senders and receivers switch roles several times during an interaction.  These verbal and nonverbal responses are called feedback.  So let's take a look at a few general types of feedback and examine their possible effects.  Here are some suggestions for giving instructional feedback: • Keep verbal instructions simple and concise. • Use demonstrations to provide nonverbal instructional feedback (see unit 4). • "Walk" players through the skill, or use a slow­motion demonstration if they are having trouble learning.
