Iporanga House | Nitsche Arquitetos Associados

I found heaven on earth, its in Brazil!

It’s been a long time since I have seen such a beautiful house! Its really hard to decide what feature I like the most, is it the contrast of natural materials juxtaposed with cold of steel and glass, geometric shape, enormous sheets of glass substituting traditional walls or maybe feeling of being simultaneously in the wild and in the modern interior? Nitsche architects had surpassed themselves, both interior as well as exterior blend with and emphasise surrounding nature.

This house is located in Iporanga town, on the Sao Paulo coast, in the middle of Atlantic Rainforest wildlife reserve. Its functions are divided into 3 storeys, which allowed architects to utilize the smallest area of land possible allowing building to blend into landscape perfectly. The interior surprisingly is rather architectonic, where industrial style is broke down with natural materials and textures. The whole building design act harmoniously with its surrounding.
